More About Sharon
Sharon joined Baxter's Corporate EHS group in June 2001. Prior to that she was the Executive Director of the American Board for Occupational Health Nurses- ABOHN (the professional certifying body for OHNs in the US). Before managing ABOHN, Sharon worked for consulting firms, providing occupational health and safety services to a variety of large corporations and municipalities. Her start in occupational health came in 1984, when she coordinated the occupational health nursing and outreach programs for a Chicago community hospital, working with over 50 companies including the City of Chicago.

Sharon retired from her role at Baxter in mid-2018 and is now consulting and leading the ANSI/ASSP committee to develop a national standard for Total Worker Health ®.
